Vopak becomes full owner of NxtPort International BV
NxtPort International will undergo a change in its shareholder structure, as the shareholders have decided on April 9, 2025 that Vopak will become its full owner. The specific date of this transfer will be communicated at a later stage. This move stems from a joint, strategic choice of Vopak and NxtPort in line with the long-term vision of both partners.
Future of products and services
NxtPort International’s products and services remain available as before. A transition period is provided to carefully manage the transfer. Service continuity will be ensured to make this transition as smooth as possible. NxtPort International’s focus on digital collaboration within the industry remains unchanged.
The E2E solution will remain within NxtPort International (whose company name is to be changed) and will continue to be developed and supported by Vopak. In doing so, Vopak will continue to work closely with users and partners to further tailor the solution to the needs of the industry.
The ECLIC use case, on the other hand, in line with this transition, will be reintegrated within NxtPort, the Port of Antwerp-Bruges subsidiary that focuses on digital innovation in the port.
